Cloud Architecture
Starting from scratch, or fixing a tangle. We design the cloud, set the guardrails, and build the first production-ready platform your team ships on.
Perpelin designs and builds the cloud foundation engineering teams ship products on. Multi-account landing zones, networking and IAM done right from week one, paved-road CI/CD baseline, observability that catches what matters, and reusable infrastructure code that scales as the team grows.
Engagements typically begin when a team has outgrown a single AWS account, has Terraform sprawl across half a dozen unmanaged repositories, or is preparing to migrate from a legacy provider. The deliverable is a complete platform, not a slide deck.
Outcomes get measured against the buyer's own SLOs, not a generic checklist. Migrations have rollback plans. Architectures are documented in the same repo as the IaC, not a separate Confluence wiki nobody updates.
Who this fits
Ideal client
- · Series A–C SaaS that's outgrown a single AWS account
- · Engineering team of 10–60 with no dedicated platform owner
- · Existing Terraform that's become a tangle of unmanaged repos
- · Pre-migration to multi-cloud or considering one
Not a fit
- · Solo founders pre-PMF (you don't need this yet)
- · Teams looking for a one-off ClickOps consultation
- · Pure on-prem with no cloud roadmap
Sample engagement
Week 1: discovery + AWS Org / GCP folder review. Weeks 2–3: landing-zone design, Terraform module scaffolding, CI/CD baseline. Weeks 4–6: implementation, including IAM Identity Center, GuardDuty / SCC, log aggregation. Weeks 7–8: GitOps cutover, runbooks, handoff. Total: ~8 weeks fixed-fee.
